Health Committee Members

Please do not allow our legislators to watch this bill die off in the house health committee. Many of the representatives I’ve contacted assume the bill is dead. It is up to us to keep reminding them that the bill is alive and well. The Medical Marijuana Act of NC is simply stalled in the health committee. Just last month representative Nick Mackey from Mecklenburg, who co-sponsored the bill, hosted a rally in Charlotte. Please give him and the other sponsors your support. They are mighty brave to be going against the grain in Raleigh. But that’s what legislators are supposed to do, serve the public interest.

So to make it easy for you to send each health committee member a polite email asking that they don’t let this bill die, I have compiled a list of them and what position they hold in the committee. Medical Marijuana is finally within reach of the North Carolina residents that could reap many benefits from it.

If your county is listed above and your representative does not support Medicinal Marijuana in NC then be sure to let them know they will not receive your vote in the next election. Also ensure your friends and family voice their opinions to them.

Contacting these folks is the most important thing you can do if you support medical marijuana use in North Carolina. Even if you are not sick, or don’t even want to use marijuana. There are plenty of sick and ailing patients that need this medicine in their life. Please don’t force them to participate in big pharmaceutical companies’ science experiments any longer, give them a natural alternative.

    Dear Representative Hughes,

I live in Pender County, North Carolina; and to my own knowledge and beliefs (in GOD’S Laws and forgiveness through JESUS CHRIST, as well as respective of laws of the People), their are many doctors’ patients who would greatly benefit from the legally prescribed use of medicinal marijuana.

Please keep this case alive and please push in favor of, according to other case studies and the benefits of sick and ill patients, of whom I have mentioned above.

Thank you very sincerely, and may GOD bless and reward you and yours,

    (Evangelist) Randolph Taylor

Way to go Mr. Taylor. If EVERYONE who felt this way would just voice their opinion to their representatives this bill would already be law. Spread the word, and keep fighting the good fight. God bless.
